DPP’s Making Sense of Health initiative, funded by the Department of Health WiPP project, puts health education into the heart of the national curriculum. The teacher training packages aim to empower students to become informed patients and enable them to make educated health decisions.

PCTs can pick and choose from a variety of topics which will assist them with their local targets and implementing their public health strategies. PCTs can actively gain local media coverage with DPP campaigns to raise awareness and understanding.
